My favorite restaurant in Dayton, OH is the Oakwood Club. Their food is consistently excellent, especially the steaks, and the wait staff is outstanding. I have been a patron for more than 35 years and look forward to many enjoyable evenings of fine dining.
Two favs in Miami: Joe Stone Crab on South Beach and House of India. The time I went to Joe Stone Crab, it was a two-three hour wait, because you can't reserve. But it was worth it. The server fed me the crab personally, which no restaurant has done for me. House of India is standard fare Indian buffet. If you want Cuban in Miami, I recommend La Carreta.
